A man died after being hit several times with a gas balloon by his co-worker in the city of Ayacuchoreported the Public ministry. The attacker’s name is Rafael Vilcatoma Arone and he is being held at the facilities of the Criminal Investigation Directorate (Divincri). The victim was Abraham Lucano.
According to the first inquiries by the prosecution, the events occurred at a gas distribution site during the night of Tuesday, September 6, in the Covadonga area, in the district of Ayacuchowhere Rafael Vilcatoma and Abraham Lucano worked labeling and accommodating the empty gas cylinders.
However, from one moment to the next, as can be seen on the security cameras, when Abraham Lucano bends down to make some notes, Rafael Vilcatoma hits him on the head with a gas balloon several times until he is killed.
Ayacucho: The murderer was arrested hours later
As observed in the security camera installed inside the premises, Rafael Vilcatoma, after his attack, escapes from the place. However, he was arrested by the police hours later in the vicinity.
From the Public ministry of Ayacucho They indicated to RPP that they are evaluating requiring preventive detention or submitting the detainee to the early termination process.
